SIRIUS was an EU-funded project that developed innovative Earth Observation (EO)-based services to support agricultural production and water management in water-scarce regions. The project provided irrigation management, drought management, and farm advisory services to assist water authorities, irrigation associations, and farmers in making informed decisions regarding sustainable water use.

SIRIUS integrated satellite imagery, hydrological modelling, and field observations to create decision-support services for sustainable water management. The project focused on providing user-friendly information regarding irrigation requirements, crop water consumption, drought conditions, and river basin management. These services contributed to more efficient water use while promoting transparency and stakeholder participation in water governance processes.
